Maitre D' Volunteer Page

Sunday December 22

(from 11:00am - 01:15pm)

WHAT: Maitre D’ Volunteer

WHEN: Sunday December 22nd from 11:00am – 1:15PM

WHERE: Dallas Ballroom at downtown Dallas Omni Hotel

DETAILS:

Imagine that this Christmas season on Sunday December 22nd you are in the Dallas Ballroom and there are 50 tables filled with our homeless guests. Each table is elegantly set up with fine linen, exquisite glass crystal and polished tableware.

You and/or your family will be assigned your own special table. As a Maitre D’ your job for the banquet is to serve the sumptuous dishes prepared by the master chefs of the Omni Hotel to your precious homeless guests. Your mission is not just to serve their meal but to engage your guests and make them feel like ‘Kings & Queens.’

It’s a rare opportunity to serve the homeless of Dallas, Texas and personally give them the most magical Christmas of their lives.  Come with a ‘Servant’s heart’ and share the love of Jesus with your homeless guests.

p.s.   A few further notes…

·       Please remember the Maitre D’ protocol. Tuxedoes for Men and Best Christmas Ensembles for Ladies.

·       Entertainment at the banquet will be provided by the ‘LETTERS FROM HOME’ singers, a patriotic musical group that tours the world to honor our Veterans & Armed Service members.

.                                                                                                                    IMPORTANT NOTE: The Maitre D’ volunteer slot has a required donation of $250 per person. For example if you have a family of #4--i.e. Father, Mother & two children, it would be $250 per person times 4 people for a total of $1,000. Traditionally families serve together at one table. Larger families may be divided and serve at two adjoining tables. For example a family of #8 would be Father & 3 children at one table and Mother & 3 children at an adjoining table. #8 people x $250 = $2,000.

  • On a related note if you are a solo Table Host we will try and pair you up with another solo Table Host so you can best serve your homeless guests.
